Biorite® is a patented mineral, non-toxic and crystalline-silica-free, obtained with a particular melting process at about 1600°C, starting from a unique blend of 100% natural mineral powders.

The unique process of Biorite® technology will allows the new 2022 generation of Lapitec® to be totally free of crystalline silica in the full range of colours.

Biorite® is produced exclusively at the Lapitec plant in Vedelago (Italy). This allows for a comprehensive control of the raw materials and the production cycle, further improving the consistency of the technical and surface characteristics of the slabs.
